  • 84 East Food and Spirits – Located in the Holland former offices for the original Interurban Railroad. 84 East specializes in pasta but offers a diverse menu of salads, sandwiches, pizza, steak and seafood.
  • 8th Street Grille – A must while shopping in downtown Holland. Great sandwiches, famous soup bar… in historic surroundings. **ONE OF OUR HOLLAND FAVORTES**
  • Alpenrose Restaurant – Escape to Europe in downtown Holland. Fine dining establishment featuring European fare from France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Austria. The woodwork alone is worth a visit to Alpenrose. **HIGHLY RECOMMENDED**
  • Arnie’s Restaurant and Golf Club – In the Ravine’s Golf and Country Club on the north side of Saugatuck.
  • Blue Goose Café – What can we say, we have a place in our heart for traditional Middle American Diner food and the Blue Goose doesn’t disappoint. Each dish is made with fresh ingredients and cooked in the way only a traditional diner can. If you want something easy whether Lunch or Dinner the Blue Goose is an easy 3 block walk from the Inn.
  • Bil-Mar Restaurant – Waterfont restaurant with a picture-perfect view of Lake Michigan Sunsets from anywhere in this Grand Haven restaurant located on the beachfront.
  • Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant – Holland waterfront restaurant with patio overlooking Lake Macatawa and park. Extensive menu featuring local and organic ingredients. **ONE OF OUR FAVORITES FOR WATERFRONT DINING**
  • Butch’s Dry Dock – Located in trendy downtown Holland, Butch’s is a wine shop and deli by day; upscale dining restaurant by night.
  • Butler Restaurant – Waterfront dining in downtown Saugatuck. Casual dining from burgers to steak to fish. Busy place in the summer, but open year-round as well.
  • Cafe Julia – Located in downtown South Haven. Specialty coffees, breads, pastries and deli. Great lunch stop before heading to South Haven lighthouse, beach…
  • Chocolate Cafe – A shopping trip to South Haven isn’t complete without a treat from this decadent South Bend Chocolate company cafe! **GREAT FOR A CHOCOLATE FIX**
  • CityVu Bistro – Located on the fifth floor of CityFlats Hotel, this distinctive restaurant has the best views of downtown Holland. Features fresh flatbreads, small plates and a full bar with a 100+ wine list and 24 wines available by the glass. Great romantic spot! **HIGHLY RECOMMENDED**
  • Clementine’s – Great casual dining in downtown South Haven. Expect a wait in the sumemrtime. **POPULAR GUESTS SPOT**
  • Coast 236 – Depending on where you live or where you have visited- means different things to different people. It might mean great Italian food from Amalfi or mussels from Normandy. It could also mean amazing Mediterranean dishes from Mallorca off-Spain, or the Greek Islands, Mykonos. However, it also may mean Farm-raised comfort food from the Coast of Michigan or fresh selections from New port, Mauai or Miami. What ever you choose you will certainly enjoy your meal, a great wine list and the company of your significant other.
  • Coral Gables – On the waterfront in downtown Saugatuck, this dining/entertainment complex has been operating for numerous years. The Annex is open year round and the dining room is open May to October.
  • Crane’s – Casual meals a mile from the Inn with antiques in every nook and cranny. Go for the food, but stay for the pie! **FAVORTIE OF BOTH LOCALS AND GUESTS**
  • Everyday People Cafe – Hip dining in Douglas, from steaks to fish to pastas, this is a favorite restaurant of both locals and visitors. **HIGHLY RECOMMENDED**
  • Fennville Station – Unique fun dining experience in an old train car converted into a dining car with waiters reminiscent of old time wait staff on railroads of years past. Not far from the Inn, the food is Italian and the atmosphere lots of fun, but romantic as well.
  • Grand King Buffet – Very large buffet featuring Chinese to American to Italian and more. Made-to-order wok, sushi and more. A very popular place in Holland off US 31 at 24th Street. Inexpensive and quick with a large selection.
  • Grill House – Steakhouse in the heart of Southwest Michigan–grill your own steak at this former stagecoach stop southwest of Allegan.
  • Hawks Head – Upscale dining at this South Haven golf and country club.
  • Hercules Hot Dogs – It may sound like a “hot dog stand,” but it is much more than that! Serving breakfast to dinner, Hercules is one of Saugatuck’s newest dining establishments. Located just as you drive into Saugatuck.Ida Red’s – Great local Saugatuck casual dining from breakfast to afternoon. One of our favorite local places, it is open year round, but Thursday through Sunday in the winter. Across from Star of Saugatuck. **ONE OF OUR FAVORITES**
  • Lakeview Lanes – Good casual dining on the screened in porch or in the smoke-free bowling alley lounge/dining area. Located at Blue Star Highway and Center Street in Douglas. **POPULAR LOCALS HANGOUT**
  • M&M’s Cafe & Ice Cream – Great casual local diner open year round serving fresh-ingreedients Greek to American fare and great ice cream. Located on Blue Star highway in Douglas across from Macatawa Bank. **ONE OF OUR FAVORITES**
  • Marro’s – No-frills Italitan restaurant in downtown Saugatuck. If you’re looking for a party-atmosphere Italian establisment, this is it.
  • Melting Pot – North side Grand Rapids hip fun and unique eatery where you’re the chef in fondue-style cooking pots on your own individual tables.
  • Mermaid Bar and Grill – Casual Waterfront harbor dining in Saugatuck serving ribs to fish to light fair. **ONE OF OUR FAVORITES**
  • New Holland Brewing Company – A popular downtown Holland Brewing compnay. Great beer and delicious food in a casual and eclectic atmosphere. **GUEST FAVORITE FOR BREW N FOOD**
  • Ottawa Beach Inn – Adjacent to the Holland State Park on Lake Macatawa. Casual atmosphere at reasonable prices. Grab to-go sandwhiches or their Sunday evening outdoor chicken barbeque to view the sunset over the Big Red lighthouse on Lake Michigan. **LOYAL LOCAL FOLLOWING**
  • Phil’s Bar and Grille – Phil’s is a long time standard along the Saugatuck coast. Along with a great Bar the food is classic comfort food. Located in downtown Saugatuck you will find people flocking to this jewel.  **ONE OF OUR YEAR-ROUND FAVORITES**
  • Phoenix Street Cafe – Upscale diner in downtown South Haven, specializing in fresh food, Boars Head meats and cheeses, artisan bread, large vegetarian menu, homemade soups.
  • Red Dock – Seasonal casual dock on Saugatuck harbor. Good food and great drinks. If Jimmy Buffet came to town, this is where he would go…. **ONE OF OUR SUMMERTIME CASUAL SPOTS**
  • Restaurant Toulouse – Country French bistro restaurant in downtown Saugatuck. Reservations recommended. **GUEST RECOMMENDED**
  • Root Café – Located in Fennville, Root Coffee House & Bakery offers rustic Country food and espresso Coffee drinks. Whether its for Homemade soups, Salads, Frittata’s, Panini’s or their house made baked goods. They always begin with the freshest local ingredients some even from their farm. Now with the added full Bar this is one of the most unique Coffee Houses in the Country!
  • Salt of the Earth – Incredible food artfully presented in very generous servings at extremely affordable prices by friendly helpful staff. What more could you ask for in a restaurant? **HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND JUST TWO BLOCKS FROM THE INN.**
  • San Chez – Excellent Tapas Bistro with a lively atmosphere in downtown Grand Rapids. **OUR FAVORITE FOR TAPAS**
  • Saugatuck Brewing Company – They are dedicated to the entire experience of craft; from their creative food menu to their unique beers. Southwestern Michigan founded the craft brewery industry. Saugatuck Brewery is one of the finest in the entire area. This place isn’t loaded with history but also excellent food. We think you will enjoy this spot.
  • Scooter’s – Pizza, subs, salads, barbecue. Dine in, take out or delivery. This is our favorite gourmet thin-crust pizza in the area. On the right on your way into Saugatuck. **OUR FAVORITE PIZZA**
  • The Southerner – In the 1950’s Many Appalachian families moved to Michigan seeking work in the Auto industry. It’s a familiar story to many people with roots in the American South, and they strive to tell a part of that story through their food. Whether its their fried chicken, Country Fried Pork Shoulder, or Rainbow Trout each dish is mouthwatering good, And the side dishes! You will enjoy them as well. Located on the water in Saugatuck this is a special place.
  • Spectator’s Sports Pub and Grille – North side of Saugatuck. Sports theme restaurant. 19 T.V.’s. Keno. Pull tabs. Pizza, appetizers, more.
  • Tello’s Tratorio – Superb romantic Italian cuisine in downtown South Haven. Fresh ingredients and excellent service. **HIGHLY RECOMMENDED**
  • Wally’s – Downtown Saugatuck bar and grill open year round serves good fish and chips, burgers, salads and more. Can be a great party crowd place. **ROWDY BUT FUN POPULAR PLACE**
  • What Not Inn – Fun atmosphere, good food and very reasonable. Located close to the Inn, it’s a favorite locals spot with open mic nights, free entertainment and more. **A LOCAL’s FAVORITE**
  • Wicks Park Bar and Grille – Downtown Saugatuck’s newest exciting dining venue is in the totally refurbished Boathouse on Water street.
  • Wild Chef Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar – You can’t beat Wild Chef for great Japanese food and sushi. In a strip mall across from Lowe’s in Holland, you would never guess it but it has some of the best sushi we have ever eaten. **OUR FAVORITE BY FAR FOR SUSHI IN ALL OF WEST MICHIGAN**
  • Wild Dog Grille – Casual good place with a big menu from salads and burgers to entrees in downtown Douglas.
