Kingsley bed and breakfast once a farm house

Quite often, guests of the Kingsley House bed and breakfast inquire about the history of the Inn’s unique structure and property.  Truly it is a one-of-a-kind Michigan landmark and on the Michigan state historical registry.  It was built in the true Queen Anne Victorian style when he moved to the Saugatuck/Fennville area of Michigan as a farm house for his small family as they raised apples and peaches, beginning much of the orchards in the surrounding area of West Michigan.  There was at one time barns, windmill, stone well and the orchards that surrounded the Inn were full of bountiful fruits.
